Aurora is invited to speak at the conference, and part of the event is a play starring Aurora's nephew Phillip. During the performance of the play, the power goes out, and when the lights come on, Phillip is on stage with a bloody knife in his hand, while his partner is lying dead in a pool of blood on the stage. The police arrest Phillip, but Aurora launches her own investigation to uncover the truth.
